Mint Controls provides tracking using RFID tags and readers. Staff applies Cap Tags provided by Mint Controls to each bottle of wine. The Cap Tags contain RFID tags encoded with specific information about each bottle. Mint Controls installs RFID readers strategically above doorways and other parts of the building. These readers collect and transmit the information provided by RFID tags, enabling automatic and effective tracking of bottles.
All information collected by the RFID reader is displayed on Mint Controls’ Software. Users can easily track multiple bottles as they travel through the building. This allows for quick and easy detection of potential theft. Through connection to the Internet, the system “learns” and analyzes patterns and behaviors. This helps to identify potential problems. Configuration makes it possible to program alerts when bottles leave a certain area. Management can view real-time information about the wine and its location to determine whether or not to take action. Mint Controls’ Software is available on any device that connects to the Internet.
In addition to tracking bottles and cases of wine, Mint Controls can also provide RFID-enabled employee badges. These badges help track which employee left with which bottle of wine.
