Jason Mindte has extensive experience working with technology as a Microsoft .Net programmer and SQL server expert. In the year 2000, Jason Mindte founded Data Resolution, a successful cloud service provider and began offering hosting services before much of the world even understood what cloud hosting was. Microsoft awarded Data Resolution #1 ERP Cloud Service Provider in the United States in both 2012 and 2013).
Interested in the possibilities of advanced technologies, Jason founded Mint Controls and began offering IOT services to industrial and government agencies. Through Jason’s leadership and profound understanding of IOT technologies, the company worked with the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) to design, build, and maintain the Port Runner Suppression System (PRSS) at several popular Land Port of Entry (LPOE) locations.
More recently, Jason’s experience includes working with the Marriott to provide comprehensive technology solutions used to simplify tracking, increase staff accountability, and prevent loss. A Certified Microsoft Partner, Mint Controls recently expanded its Partner Network to include industry experts such as Qualcomm, AT&T, and KORE Wireless.
A former Senior Developer at Aztec Systems, Advanced Business Systems, and Western Computer, Tim’s strengths include electrical and mechanical engineering of IOT devices for use in modern industrial settings.
At Mint Controls, Tim ‘s responsibilities have included research and development of systems and controls for managing security and operations at several popular Ports of Entry, the creation of control systems using Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC's) (Siemens, Omron, Unitronics) and embedded computers (Raspberry Pi, Arduino, PC-104). Tim was responsible for overall systems designs and implementations and the conversion from discrete wiring to Ethernet wherever possible.
Today, Tim focuses on the creation and implementation of IOT in modern industrial settings using a wide variety of sensors. He has experience with Azure and stand-alone back-ends used for interacting with IOT devices, integration of IOT devices into Microsoft Dynamics NAV, and the creation of advanced NAV customizations including Google and Bing Maps, Driver Route Optimization, GPS and Photo overlays for delivery confirmations.
