Fill Sensors
Yes. We require a set-up and installation fee for the initial installation and registration process.
Yes. Air often becomes trapped inside waste basket bins. When this occurs, an ordinary fill level sensor might register the bin as “full”. This can happen even immediately after changing the bag. Our system uses a Photo Sensor in addition to our Fill Sensor. This helps determine whether the bag is affecting fill level status. If the Photo Sensor picks up only white or black (depending on the color of the bag) our system will determine the bin does not require attention.
Yes. Our Fill Sensors include a six (6) degree axis Tilt Sensor. This helps determine whether the bin is tipped over or the door left open.
Yes, as long as we know the bin model. In order to conserve energy, sensors prefer to utilize single hop communication for data uploading within their communication range. We use the shortest route possible to cover as many sensors as possible. At 75%, we would need to add to the route plan.
Yes. Our Fill Sensors can monitor fill level in bins constructed of any material. However, containers of certain dimensions require multiple devices and a local network. One sensor would act as the “Parent” and the others the “Children”. This model requires only one cell signal.
Our Fill Sensors monitor fill level within ten (10) feet of the device. This makes them the ideal solution for bins of varying height and diameter.
We offer a Laser-Based and an Ultrasonic Fill Sensor. Sensors are modular. Swapping and replacement is possible.
The Ultrasonic Sensor uses the same technology as your vehicle’s back-up camera. This provides a high level of value and reliability. The Ultrasonic Sensor is waterproof to prevent malfunction caused by spills or liquid waste.
Location Tracking
Yes, with GPS module and Software registration. Users can view the exact location of containers on an Android or iOS device. Software registration includes adding each container and its location, altitude included. This helps locate containers on different floors.

Our system uses GPS to allow for accurate location tracking of individual containers.
Dashboards/Reporting
Yes, we provide Smart Cities and businesses with reports regarding environmental impact, savings, and usage using SQL Server Reporting Services. These reports analyze past history and present usage to provide an accurate view.
Notifications are sent via SMS text message and/or email depending on customer needs/preferences. Users can also view all notification on the Smart City Manager Software dashboard.
Yes. Our system provides both internal and customer facing reporting updates. Information on dashboards displayed in an easy to read and understand format.
Our system updates every two hours. Changes possible based on customer needs/preferences.
Battery
While it might be possible to switch to something other than the suggested lithium ion battery, it will not have the same lifespan. In fact, the battery life will be significantly lower.
With solar, the battery has a lifespan of ten (10) years. This assumes a power input of 1 milliamp and data refreshes every two hours.
Durability
Our Fill Sensor can operate from 0 degrees Fahrenheit to 150 degrees Fahrenheit.
Our Ultrasonic Fill Sensor is dust tight to ensure protection against rain, snow, and liquid waste. It is rated at IP65.
We understand that vibration will occur due to normal operation of the device. Our Fill sensor is built to withstand 10G vibration amplitude.
Options
Yes. Our fire detection sensor ties into other fire systems to allow for communication. This ensures a high level of safety and convenience.
While swapping sensors on containers is possible, each container must be reassigned in the Smart City Manager Software.
Yes. Because of the modular design of the system, swapping sensors is possible at any time during the life of the product.
We offer three communications options. Customers can choose between WiFi, 3G/4G, and LTE-M. Please note that local network access required for WiFi.
