Light Detection and Ranging or LIDAR technology is a remote sensing method, which uses light in the form of pulsed laser to measure distance. LIDAR technology is pivotal to the development of self-driving cars.
Our LIDAR systems monitor objects in a number of areas. In the restroom, LIDAR monitors when paper towels or soap dispensers need to be refilled. Absolutely no images are captured by the system. Only measurements are taken. Our LIDAR system tracks movement around perimeters, in large spaces such as convention centers and concert halls, and throughout production facilities. When combined with other systems, LIDAR provides a holistic view of all activities around in and around an area.
The information collected by our LIDAR system appears on our Software dashboards, where users can quickly locate potential problems. Predictive analysis enables our system to identify these issues in real-time and send alerts to key personnel.
